Boggs Mountain Boogie Race Instructions
General Info:
Start Time: 8:30 am
Location: Boggs Destination Forest, Calso Campground
Race Number Pick up: at Caliso Campground: Saturday 4 - 6 pm or 7 - 8:15 am race-day
Parking: Located at Calso Campground. Driving in Boggs is limited to 10 MPH. This Speed will be strictly enforced.

1) Aid Stations.
Aid Stations A & B - will have Water & HEED. Along with Pretzels, Licorice, M&M’s, Peanuts, Payday’s, Hammer Gel’s, & Endurolytes.
Aid Stations D & E - will have Water & Coke. Along with Pretzels, Licorice, M&M’s, Peanuts, Payday’s, Hammer Gel’s, &Endurolytes.
Aid Stations C – Will have Limited Supplies. Water & Coke. Along with M&M’s, Payday’s, Hammer Gel’s, & Endurolytes.
2) Dusk is at 6:00 pm.
If you are planning on being out near this time it is recommended that you have a headlamp available because under the tree
cover it may get dark fast. You will be allowed to have your Headlamp at Aid station C, mile 26. Drop off your
head lamp at check in by 8am to insure it is delivered to the aid station for
your use later. Glow Sticks will be lighting the way over the last 5 miles if necessary.
3) Course Markings.
The course is 2 laps most of the course is used twice. 2 different colors will be used.
Yellow ribbons will be marking the first lap (Miles 1 to 16).
Orange Ribbons will be marking the second lap (Miles 16 to 31).
Turns will be marked with at least 3 ribbons (1 before, 1 at and 1 after the turn). “Feel good” ribbons will also be used to make sure you staying on track.
Chalk will also mark some of the major turns.
